To you, to my grandfather.

I know we are all feeling a little bit sad,
That we've lost our Grandpa, our friend and our dad
Together we have cried an ocean of tears
As we feel so empty and hold many fears

I write this for you, Granddad, as the tears roll down my face,
A part of me just died tonight a part I can't replace.
They called us to your bedside it was time for you to fly,
How do you fit a lifetime into a five minute goodbye?

Death may have taken your body but it did not take you
The love that we share even death can’t get through.

You have left so many happy thoughts in my heart,
I am still finding it hard to believe we are now apart,
If I were given one wish what would it be,
It would be for you to be here for one more day with your family,
I am heart broken that you are no longer here,
When I think of you, I will always shed a tear,
People tell me in time the pain will stop,
But I will always miss the times I had with my dearest Pop.

Ordinary World

Expect the unexpected if the unexpected is expected.
Meet Jasper the Lonely Man. He is an 22-year old with few allergic reactions. He always feels like he is being tied down. He is not good at what he does but marriage doesn't come easy. He wakes up every morning at the same time, he brushes his hair the same way, he never forgets to feed the horses. Lately his shoes haven't been as slip resistant as once before. His life is now slipping, he can no longer accomplish the grocery list. He begins not wearing shoes. His life has never changed so dramatically. He realizes that the shoeless life brings back to many memories of his fifth grade dance recital. He decides to wear shoes again. He slips on his old shoes, but something feels different, something feels better. His life feels back in place. He realizes it wasn't because of his shoes loosing their slip resistance. He just needed to find comfort in his life. He just needed Dr. Scholls.

Shake the Dust

This for people that are separating their family's, this if for the people that are living on the streets, this is for the people that have no hope of a family tree.
Life Goes On
This is for the people that cant commit, this for the kids that never owned a baseball mitt. This is for the people that cant admit.
Life Goes On
This is for the people that dont matter what they've been through, this is for the people that dont matter what their into. This is for the people that sit back and wish that they could redo.
Life Goes On
This is for the people that still stand, this is for the people that are not afraid of saying I am. This is for the people that are always under command.
Life Goes On
This is for the people that were born without a dime, this for the people that are still trying to climb, this is for the people that are not scared to speak their mind.
Life Goes On
This is for the people that grin and bear it, this is for the people that win and share it, this is for the people that didn't plan it but give it to God so he can handle it.
Life Goes On so grab this world by its clothespins and shake it out again and again and jump on top and take it for a spin and when you hop off shake it again for this is yours.

Gandhi

I keep forgetting to,
not only do whats best for you
You are some one else
I am still right here
Tighten up your reigns
Take my badge but my heart remains
Dont push me out
Lately I'v walked in doubt
Maybe its crashing down
Can you save it now
Days go by days
All we do is roll on
Days show my ways
Dont stop keep going on
I'm your shoulder lean upon
Discreetly
When will we own ourselves completely
Demand a better voice
No, nothing but rejoice
Take toll, take time
And turn your face
Dismount your wall
Disband your state
In the battle of bones
I'll be up and coming on
I'll be up and holding strong
You treat me black and white
But tonight is not the last night I'll see the light
This is just a rewrite
